Jerome Box, director of Box Construction, started out in business over 25 years ago. His introduction to building was in the commercial sector as an apprentice for Fletcher Building. Most apprentices at the time completed a Trade Certification, Jerome was one of a few chosen to go on & complete the Advanced Trade Certification, gaining the highest marks for his year the prize being a trip to Outward Bound.
In his early years, Jerome taught apprentice training in carpenty at Tairawhiti Polytectnic to trade certification level. So he has a long history and strength in the technical aspects of building work that continues today.
Hailing from the East Coast in Gisborne, Jerome travelled working 18 months as a joiner in London on jobs such as the Coburg Hotel, and the re-build of a Christopher Wren design in Knightsbridge. Now living in Auckland he is a passionate snowboarder and mountain biker, igniting the sense of adventure in his two children.

Where do we Build?

Box Construction predominantly works on projects in central and surrounding suburbs.
However, we have also worked in Mangawhai Heads and more recently Tairua on the Coromandel Peninsular with some clever architects building spectacular homes.
